Kitchen Installation, Chessington

Problem – The customer had an old kitchen, with wood effect doors that was looking tired and dated. They wanted to replace it with a modern, fresh look whilst making the most use of the space.

Process – The customer was recommended to us by a friend of theirs who had also had their kitchen renovated by us. Stephen initially spoke with the customer and booked them in for a no obligation design consultation with Julia.

The design consultation was carried out by Julia. At the design consultation, the customer was shown various samples of doors and worktops and they picked the colours they wanted for their new kitchen. The various design options were also discussed and following the design consultation, the quotation was sent within a week of the appointment.

After the quotation was sent the customer then arranged with Stephen to visit the showroom as the colour they had chosen was on display and they wanted to view it. They were also unsure about the worktop colour they had chosen during the design consultation and they wanted to talk through the options a bit more. During their visit to the showroom, the customers discussed with Stephen the various worktop options available to them and looked at samples against the door colour they had chosen. The customer found this process extremely helpful and by the end of the visit, they left feeling confident they had made the correct choice.

After the visit to the showroom, the customer decided that they were happy with the design and the quotation and went ahead with the project. Julia returned to carry out a survey, during which time she checked with the customer that they were happy with the colours and design they had chosen.

As part of the installation of the kitchen, Julia arranged for an electrician to attend the property to carry out some work on the lighting to enhance the design of the new kitchen. This was all included in the quotation that was provided to the customer at the beginning of the project. The kitchen took a week to install, during which time Julia was on site every day, overseeing the project and making sure everything was being installed in accordance with the design.

At the end of the week, the customer was left with a bright, modern kitchen and they were extremely pleased with it. The space was transformed and the work had been done with the minimum fuss for the customer.

Solution – The new kitchen makes the most use of the space in the room and gives a bright modern look which the customer was after. The worktop provides a classic feel whilst still contrasting well with the modern doors. The whole room works well and provides a clean, functional room that looks amazing. The customer is extremely pleased and has already recommended us to friends and family.
